My passion for design has roots in my Texas upbringing, where I grew up surrounded by creativity and craftsmanship. My dad was constantly working on DIY home projects that filled our house with personality—whether hand-stenciling an intricate border on my bright, colorful childhood bedroom walls or custom-cutting tiles for the master shower shaped like Texas. His willingness to experiment sparked my love for custom design and inspired me to look beyond the ordinary when designing a space.
My mom, an inspiring businesswoman, showed me the value of hard work, dedication, and professionalism. She leads by example, creating a collaborative environment where ideas and feedback are always welcome, and her team loves her like family. Her openness and the respect she inspires have deeply influenced how I run my business today, prioritizing professionalism, customer care, and a genuine connection with clients.
Over the years, my style has evolved as I’ve worked hands-on in the field, gaining a deep understanding of materials and how they’re meant to function. I believe every design should be both beautiful and purposeful, enhancing the lives of those who live in it. My goal is to bring a balance of creativity and practicality to each project, helping my clients create spaces that feel true to them.
My Story
My journey as a designer began with a hands-on love for crafting spaces that feel as good as they look. Early in my career, I jumped into the world of lighting, where I capitalized on the importance of layout, placement, and functionality. I quickly realized that lighting, and design in general, isn’t just about style—it’s about creating balance and making a space work effortlessly for those who live in it.
As I moved into home design, I had the opportunity to work with homeowners directly, helping them select finishes that add both beauty and long-term value. This taught me to go beyond the surface and truly understand which materials and upgrades are worth the investment.
From there, my love for custom spaces blossomed as I worked with skilled artisans and industry pros on unique projects. Collaborating with contractors, tile setters, and craftsmen taught me the art of customization—how to choose the best materials for each application, ensuring not only style but also durability and functionality. I believe great design isn’t just “pretty”; it’s about making choices that stand the test of time, both in looks and practicality. I want every detail in a space to look incredible today and still be loved years down the road.
